Who we are
Terra started from an idea in 2010 and became, in less than six years, one of the most well-known and appreciated brands in SE of Europe in fiberglass products for construction with a presence in most EU countries, as well as in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. Our customers are construction companies, large retailers and manufacturers of building materials products and accessories that are used in ETICS, reinforcement and renovation.
Investment
Terra’s products are manufactured in the Free Enterprise Zone from Vulcănești, Republic of Moldova, 175 km south of Chișinău, 40 km from the Romanian border and 2 km from the Ukrainian border, where a “greenfiled” investment of more than $ 5 million was used to build a modern production facility.
Our products are made from high quality raw materials through technological processes carefully controlled, fully meeting European standards for strength and durability and thus benefiting from credentials required by Romanian, Czech and German institutes for checking the building materials’ quality (URBAN INCERC, TZUS, DIBt). The plant currently has one of the largest production capacities in South Eastern Europe, which aims to continually adjust to the new requirements of various customers.
- 2016 – A process of worldwide distribution expansion starts.
- 2015 – Greenfield investment in the high-end factory is finalised.
- 2012 – Terra Impex is officially launched.
- 2011 – The Vulcănești factory is based.
- 2010 – Terra Impex idea starts forming.
